Bookmark Delays - SHIPPING THIS WEEKEND!
about 1 month ago – Fri, Aug 21, 2026 at 09:47:25 AM

Hello friends!

I ran into a few weeks of delays with my bookmark supplier. She's a local artist and prints these beautiful bookmarks herself. She had some supply chain delays, but I picked up my order yesterday and I'm painting special edition books today.

That means all the books will be in the mail in the next few days!

Thank you for your patience. And keep your eyes out for the next installment in the Choose Your Critter world because Adventure Cats: The Outclaws will be hitting Backerkit in just a few weeks!

Happy Friday!

We Made it to $3k!
4 months ago – Wed, Jun 03, 2026 at 07:34:48 PM

Thank you everyone for your support of Danger Dogs: A Choose Your Dog Adventure!

We just hit that $3k stretch goal! That means I'll be adding the audiobook onto the goodie options you can choose for your order. The WONDERFUL Peter Leppard is on-board to narrate the book and will begin narration on it in the next month. Peter is a remarkably talented narrator and I'm THRILLED to have him on the project.

We have less than 48 hours left on the campaign. Please share this with anyone who needs a fun, wholesome, and ridiculously funny dog book in their life.

THANK YOU!

Stretch Goal - Let's Push for $3k!
4 months ago – Wed, May 20, 2026 at 08:50:09 PM

Hey friends,

Thank you so much for supporting this project. Danger Dogs has been such a fun book to write and it keeps on getting rave reviews from the kids on my beta reading team. This is truly a book designed to help kids get passionate about reading!

In that vein, I want to announce our stretch goal...

At 3k, Danger Dogs will also become AN AUDIOBOOK! Narrated by the incredibly talented Peter Leppard!

Peter has narrated several of my favorite books, including Guard in the Garden by Z.S. Diamanti. He's a delightful person and an extraordinary narrator. I'm so excited to have him on this project. I'm also so very thrilled to have Danger Dogs as an audio experience for readers who might need immersive reading or who prefer audiobooks. I want readers (especially kids) to be able to access stories and an audiobook will help me help them.

What does that mean for you?

It means that once we hit $3k on this campaign, I'll have enough to pay Peter to narrate this audiobook. And you'll be able to add the audiobook onto your order FOR ONLY $10!

That's a screaming good deal that I'm only offering to you, the first supporters of this book.

Thank you for all of your support! Here we go to $3k!
